Children are very fond of constructing all sorts of "shelters" from everything that comes to hand. It is worth supporting the desire of the crumbs to have a secluded fabulous corner and build a bright and cheerful tent house for the child, which will be appropriate both at home and in the country.

It is necessary

Dense fabric (raincoat fabric), threads, scissors, strips of material for ruffles, tulle, Velcro, inlay, base hoop, ring, foam rubber, adhesive spider web

Instructions

Step 1

From a dense material (it is best to take a raincoat fabric: it does not crumble and you can not process the seams), you need to cut out four parts for the upper part of the house - in the form of large trapezoids rounded at the bottom - and four parts for the bottom - in the form of small triangles, also rounded. The lower parts should be sewn together along the longitudinal edges. The result is a truncated cone. The upper elements should be sewn together to form a conical tent head. Then the top must be sewn to the bottom of the house.

Step 2

For frills, you need to take two long strips of fabric (with a margin). They will need to be folded with their front sides. Then you need to mark the frill, stitch it, cut off the allowances closer to the line and turn it out. From a strip of fabric, you need to make a loop and thread a ring through it. All four small cones should be sewn together by inserting a loop. After that, the eyelet and frill must be sewn to the cone.

Step 3

The frame can be a hula hoop with a diameter of about 50 cm. It can be secured with strings that are sewn in the area of the upper seam from the wrong side.

Step 4

Now it's time to cut out the entrance of the house. Two curtains should be cut out of tulle and swept over with an overlap over the door of the tent. Draw curtain ties on each side. On top, you will need to sew a wide bias tape (a strip produced along the seam for finishing) of fabric.

Step 5

To make the floor, it is worth cutting out two circles with a diameter of 1 m from the fabric. 3/4 of the circles should be sewn with the help of a tape, on which pieces of Velcro must first be attached. It is necessary to insert foam rubber inside. Then you need to sew up the remaining quarter. It is recommended to trim the bottom of the tent with an inlay, on which Velcro should also be "attached". The Velcro will keep the tent around the perimeter of the floor.
