Instructions
Step 1
Set aside a place to build. It is not at all necessary to look for a large area for it. In a small space or on a personal plot, you can build a compact functional house with your own hands. It can be in the form of a fairytale palace, a knight's castle or a hut of a forest dweller.
Step 2
Prepare the material. The building material for the house can be cardboard or a large box, for example, in which a TV was sold. The finished box is already the walls for the future house.
Step 3
Make a flat roof with the same cardboard by gluing or stapling it to the walls. From the inside, the space can be decorated with bright wallpaper, and the outside can be painted with paints. In this case, the child will be happy to help you. Hang family photos or pictures drawn by your toddler on the walls.
Step 4
A more durable building can be constructed. Make a foundation trench about 1.5 x 2 meters. Place the bricks on the same level. For the manufacture of the frame, beams with a cross section of 5 cm are suitable. Install a structure of beams on the buried bricks. Nail the floorboards to the frame.
Step 5
Fasten the supporting beams with corners so that they form a square. Fix the walls of the house. Attach the roof support rail to the front and rear panels. Using the planks on the crossbars, assemble the roof shields. Nail each side of the roof with nails. Please note that the ends of all nails must be bent so that the child does not get hurt. In addition, the wooden playhouse should be coated with non-toxic paint or varnish.
Step 6
Using wire for making the frame and fabric, you can sew a house. Make rectangular patterns for the walls and roof, fold their edges so that the wire fits into the resulting drawstring. Sew all stitches with a straight stitch. Insert the frame parts into the blanks for each part of the house, twist the ends of the wire together. Attach the roof with Velcro. Decorative windows with curtains and doors can be sewn to the finished house.
