Instructions

Step 1

To make rosehip tea, take 1 tablespoon of whole fruits, place in a thermos and pour 1 cup boiling water. Close, let it brew for 6-8 hours and strain. If instead of whole berries you use chopped ones, 30-40 minutes will be enough for infusion.

Step 2

To prepare a rosehip decoction, put 1 tablespoon of chopped fruits in a glass jar and pour 1 cup of boiling water. Then hold the jar in a water bath for 15-20 minutes and leave for 45-60 minutes. Strain.

Step 3

Prepare the rosehip infusion as follows: Put 2 tablespoons of chopped fruits in a glass jar, pour 2 cups of boiling water and put in a water bath for 30-40 minutes. Strain and add as much hot water to the infusion as needed to restore the original volume of liquid.

Step 4

To prepare rosehip compote, pour 4 cups of fruits with 1 liter of cold water and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Then add fresh apples and sugar to taste. Cook until tender.

Step 5

To cook rosehip jelly, pour 1 glass of fruit with 1 liter of hot water, close the lid and cook for about 15-20 minutes. Remove the berries from heat and let it brew for 6-7 hours. Then add sugar to taste. Pour 1 cup of cold broth and dilute 2 tablespoons of starch in it. Pour the diluted starch into the rest of the broth brought to a boil. As soon as the jelly boils, remove from heat.

Step 6

An excellent prophylactic remedy for colds is a rosehip and raisin drink. To prepare it, take 3 tablespoons of chopped fruits, pour 3 cups of boiling water and let it brew for 20 minutes. Strain, pour the rosehip pomace with 2 cups of boiling water, leave again for 20 minutes and strain. Combine both broths and add 2 tablespoons of raisins.

Step 7

Give the child drinks from rose hips 2 times a day in the following dosages: from 6 months to 1 year - 5-10 milliliters each, from 1 to 4 - 100 milliliters each.

Step 8

Be sure to use decoctions and infusions of rosehip within the next 10-15 hours.
