A child at the age of two months feels the need to communicate with adults. It's important to make it interesting. In order to entertain the baby and develop the necessary physical, visual, auditory and other skills, it is necessary to pay attention to developmental games, as well as massage and gymnastic exercises.

Massage

Start your morning with a massage. The touch of mother's hands is pleasant to the baby. They are relaxing and positive. The massage should be superficial and include various strokes, rubbing and light articular gymnastics: adduction and extension of arms, flexion and extension of the legs, boxing, etc. Accompany the massage with a conversation with the baby, poetry, nursery rhymes. The sound of the mother's voice is well known to the child, he knows it from the womb and this is the best music for his ears.

Visual skills

At the age of two months, the baby's gaze is no longer as wandering as it used to be. He is able to focus it on an object, although it is still difficult for him to focus on rapidly moving objects. Stimulate these skills by showing and moving various colorful toys in front of your child's eyes.

One of the most popular toys for this age, besides the classic rattle, is the hanging mobile. It is a bracket suspended above the bed, on which various objects are fixed: animals, stars, flowers. The mobile spins and the toys swing, arousing the kid's interest. At the same time, most mobiles have musical accompaniment, which also contributes to the development of hearing in the child and relaxation of the nervous system. Simple and calm melodies act like a lullaby; many children fall asleep quickly when their mobile is turned on.

A rattle in the form of a ring is useful for working with a two-month-old baby. Place it on your child's handle. It will be interesting for him to watch how she rattles when he moves his hands. It can also be used when doing gymnastic exercises to develop grasping skills.

Finger games

Babies aged 2 months, especially those with increased limb tone, find it difficult to keep their fists open. Finger games help your child develop fine motor skills and learn to control the movements of the fingers and hands. This is the familiar "White-sided Magpie", smoothing of fingers clenched into a fist, massage of fingers, etc. Children with whom parents conduct such classes, before others begin to hold objects and move them from one hand to another.

To develop tactile sensations, put objects of different textures in the baby's palm. It can be scraps of fleecy, rough, silk fabric, pieces of fur, something warm or, conversely, cool. Accompany the session with comments. The child gets to know the world through the reactions and emotions of adults, so show your child how much you like the touch of fur on your cheek or how cold it is from a piece of ice. But do not make loud noises and do not make sudden movements: this will scare the baby, and the activity will have the opposite effect.
