A birth contract is a contract between a pregnant woman and an insurance company. It is in the form of a voluntary medical insurance policy (VHI) and gives the right to give birth in a paid department of the designated maternity hospital.

Step 1
Contracted childbirth differs from childbirth in a free department of the maternity hospital in more comfortable conditions, and from a personal agreement with a doctor - a guarantee of all services declared in the contract. That is, if some of the conditions are violated or not met in full, you have the right to demand your money through the court.
Step 2
Get a contract by 36 weeks pregnant. To do this, first select the maternity hospital that suits you. Choose a maternity hospital taking into account the characteristics of your pregnancy. There are maternity hospitals, which are centers for the provision of obstetric care for a particular pathology of pregnancy. In addition to the specifics of the maternity hospital, pay attention to the recommendations of friends, to the reviews in the press and on the forums of young mothers.
Step 3
After choosing a maternity hospital, contact the insurance company that works with it. The insurance agent will ask you to fill out a questionnaire and help you choose the best option based on your requirements. Be sure to include your preferred method of pain relief during labor.
Step 4
Before signing the contract, read the license of the medical insurance organization for the right to engage in health insurance, as well as the contract of this organization with the maternity hospital that you have chosen. Check the validity of this contract - suddenly it expires in a week, and your birth is planned in a month.
Step 5
After payment, you will receive a VHI policy, on the basis of which you will be hospitalized in the maternity hospital of your choice. The birth contract gives you the right to choose a doctor who will observe you before giving birth, and subsequently - to take over your birth. According to the contract, after giving birth, you must be placed in a separate room.
Step 6
According to the contract, you will be monitored for another month after giving birth at the medical institution of your choice. This means that if within a month after giving birth you need to consult an obstetrician-gynecologist, you can get it. The insurance company is obliged to reimburse the costs associated with postpartum complications.
