In fact, cutting a child with a clipper yourself is quite simple. You just need to observe some precautions and take into account the mood of the little one.

Step 1
Decide on the length of your haircut. First, set the machine head to the maximum height (usually 12-15 mm).
Step 2
Put the child in the lap of dad, grandmother or grandfather - that is, the one whom he trusts most. Turn your baby's first haircut into an interesting game. You can organize watching your favorite cartoon on TV. Alternatively, sit in front of a large mirror with the baby, so he will see your actions and stop worrying. Be confident even if you've never cut a hair before. The child is sensitive to your anxiety.
Step 3
Start cutting from the back of the head, lifting the strands of hair upward with the comb so that they do not get tangled in the clipper blades. Hold the attachment with the contacting surface close to your head, not at an angle.
Step 4
Gradually move on to cutting the temporal zone, then the parietal. As a result, you will get an even cut all over your head. Optionally, you can perform edging (step 6).

You can also set the nozzle to 6-9 mm and walk again along the lower edge of the haircut, having previously determined the transition boundaries. In the place of the transition, display a typewriter with a slight rounding, i.e. at an angle to the head so that there is no clear border.
