Step 2
Calculate the exact size from the tabular data. Shoe size 16 corresponds to the length of the foot from the tip of the big toe to the heel equal to 10 cm, 17-10.5 cm, 18-11 cm, etc. The increase in size occurs, respectively, every 0.5 cm. If the left foot is slightly different from the right, be guided by big numbers.
Step 3
For the selection of shoes, it is important to know more information about the instep of the foot. Make a print of the child's wet footprint by wetting the foot and placing it on a piece of paper. Based on this data, flat feet can be recognized in time and measures can be taken. To reduce flat feet, choose shoes with orthopedic insoles for your child, and periodically show him to an orthopedic surgeon. You can calculate the size of the shoe for the length of the foot as follows. Measure the length of the child's foot from the tip of the big toe to the heel and divide the figure in half. For example, foot length 17, half is 8, 5. Round up to 9, and add to the original data. It turns out 26, this will be the size of the shoe.
