Backpacks allow you to take the necessary things with you on a regular or cycling trip without taking your hands. The kid will gladly throw on the shoulders of the backpack straps, which are adjustable in length. If you make additional belt loops, then the backpack can be attached to the trunk or bicycle handlebars.
It is necessary
- - Solid color fabric;
- - lining fabric;
- - thin synthetic winterizer;
- - fasteners - carbines;
- - textile sling;
- - contact tape;
- - fastener - zipper.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut out the two main parts of the backpack from the upper fabric, leaving one and a half centimeters for allowances. The main part is a rectangle with corners rounded at the top. On the front, make an appliqué or sew on a patch pocket, stitching the details to the edge.
Step 2
Calculate the length of the side of the backpack, which will be equal to the perimeter of the rectangle lying at the base of the two already cut pieces. Divide the resulting size in half. One half of the side part forms the bottom, the second half (upper side part) is made in the form of two parts, between which a zipper will be sewn.
Step 3
On this backpack, the straps are easy to unfasten, so you need to sew a small pocket to store the straps. Sew it to the bottom piece. Make belt loops from the sling, with the help of which the backpack can be hung on the bicycle handlebars. Melt the edges of the parts over the fire so that the fibers do not unravel. Sew on the ends of the belt loops along a piece of contact tape (Velcro). Attach the belt loops to the back of the backpack.
Step 4
Sew on the front side of the two pieces that form the top of the side of the backpack with a zipper. Then fold back the fabric and baste it close to the edge. In a ring, connect the bottom to the top part. To the back of the backpack, sweep a sling threaded through the frames: two on the sides of the upper part and two on the sides of the bottom. Sew a handle between the top pieces. Sew the details of the backpack together, then turn to the right side and topstitch to the hem.
Step 5
Sew a section of the prepared lining fabric with padding polyester and sew an exact copy of the backpack from it. Bend the seam allowances at the zipper sewing areas and baste. Insert the lining into the backpack and gently join at the zipper sewing area. Stitch to the hem along the right side. Insert the ends of the straps into the frames of the carabiners and attach them to the backpack.
