Any pendant with various figures above the baby's bed is not only a decoration, but at the same time gives the baby the opportunity to examine it with interest, learn to reach for objects and touch them. Despite the apparent simplicity, such toys will help develop a child in several directions at once.

Step 1
A hanging toy above the bed allows you to train your child: vision, concentration and attention, the ability to focus the gaze, as well as the ability to distinguish and recognize objects. In addition to everything else, slow movement and gentle sounds will allow the baby to calm down and cause a lot of positive emotions.
Step 2
Toys - pendants are attached to the baby's bed using a special bracket or arc. They are both hard and soft, small and more or less large, in the form of a figurine or a ball. There are also varieties in color: variegated, monochromatic, striped, shiny, speckled, but always of a pleasant color.
Step 3
For children under four months old, it is better to hang a figurine with a face image (for example, a bun with a mouth and eyes) above the bed, it will greatly delight your child and will definitely teach you how to communicate with people and concentrate.
Step 4
By the time the baby is six months old, you can hang a sounding toy on the crib. It will stimulate the baby's hearing and vision, allow the sound effect to be correlated with their own movements, thereby helping to develop hand-eye coordination. Also, the child will be interested in trying to get the toy hanging over him, touch it and even try to grab it.
Step 5
Stretch marks or garland rattles look like several small toys that are connected to each other with a ribbon, elastic band or cord. In function, they are roughly reminiscent of pendant toys. You can hang such a stretch both on the crib and on the stroller, but always in such a way that the child can touch it on his own by moving his arms or legs. It is best to install the toy on opposite sides at a distance of about seven centimeters above the baby's chest. The garland can be made of plastic or wood, the main thing is that it attracts children's attention, but it is not very bright either.
Step 6
The carousel pendant must be mounted on a bracket, directly above the baby's bed, so that he can see all the parts of the toys. The pendant can also be illuminated, which will project the image onto the ceiling of the room and be accompanied by a pleasant melody that will enhance the "magic" effect of the toy.
Step 7
When installing the hanging mechanism over the baby's cot, pay attention to how the toys are located. After all, a child lying on his back should see each figure as a whole, and not only its lower part, which will seem to him as a narrow strip. It is worth noting that the movement that the baby sees must be accurate. Therefore, the best option would be if not crocodiles and hippos soar in the air, but butterflies, fish or bees.
