The main features of the care of membrane clothing

Remember that things made of membrane fabric quickly lose all their wonderful properties if they are improperly cleaned, so under no circumstances should you violate the rules of caring for them. It is strictly forbidden to use conditioners, bleaches, and powders intended for the care of other types of fabrics when washing. You can not use products that contain chlorine, even if in small quantities. It is not recommended to wash membrane clothing in a machine, soak it for a long time, or fill it with hot water.

The easiest way to care for membrane fabric is to use special sprays. Such funds are not cheap, but they allow you to quickly and easily clean clothes, remove stains from them, without deteriorating the characteristics of the fabric and without depriving it of its special properties. After cleaning, it is recommended to soak clothing with aerosols. However, this must also be done after washing things made of membrane fabric. If you notice that after impregnation with special aerosols, the material has slightly changed its shade, do not be alarmed - this is a normal phenomenon.

How to properly wash and dry membrane clothing

If you do not want to use sprays or do not have the opportunity to purchase such products for cleaning membrane fabrics, you can simply wash your clothes. But be careful and follow all the tips carefully, otherwise saving on spray will result in big expenses on new clothes.

You can wash such things in water, the temperature of which does not exceed 30o Celsius. In this case, you can use only mild liquid soap or gentle shampoo, including baby shampoo, moreover, in small quantities. Never soak clothes or rub them too hard. Use your palms or a sponge to scrub the surface of the fabric gently and gently, but do not use a stiff brush.

After washing the membrane garment, spread it, straighten it on a flat, hard surface, and then gently blot it with towels or soft, clean rags. After that, you need to leave the spread clothes in a well-ventilated area until completely dry. It is not recommended to dry it by hanging it on a rope or, moreover, securing it with clothespins. Remember also that in no case should you iron the membrane fabric, as well as dry it with a hot stream of air (for example, by hanging it over a heating device or using a hair dryer) - this makes the material lose its useful properties.
