With the onset of the cold season, young mothers, regardless of experience and age, have a natural question: what is the best way to dress your child. After all, overheating is just as dangerous for the baby as the cold. What should the beloved child's "outfit" consist of, so that he is dry, warm, and comfortable?

Instructions

Step 1

When going for a walk with your baby in winter, first put on a disposable diaper and a knitted (or cotton) bodysuit. The ideal option is thermal underwear (for example, a wrap long-sleeved T-shirt or bodysuit) and tights.

Step 2

Then put on a basic hooded suit made of warm fabric such as fleece, wool or terry cloth.

Step 3

After that, you can safely put on outerwear. If your baby is not yet walking, then an envelope winter overalls will be the most convenient for him. It is best if there is a detachable natural lining inside, for example, from sheepskin.

The convenience of such winter clothes is that while the child is in the cradle, the overalls can be transformed into an envelope, that is, the legs of the crumbs will be together. And the next year, when your child is already walking, the envelope can be "divided" into trousers.

The only "but", it is difficult to guess how much your baby will grow in a year, therefore, most likely, the first jumpsuit will be useful only for one season. If we talk about sizes, then in children's clothes the size is equal to the height. Thus, a six-month-old baby needs to buy things of size 74. But it is worth remembering that every child is different. Therefore, ideally, it is better to buy things, trying them on whenever possible.

Step 4

If we talk about a headdress for crumbs, then the best option would be a hat: a warm, knitted model made of high-quality wool, well covering the ears. It must be tied under the chin. You can wear a light knitted hat or cotton cap under it. But the scarf is an optional accessory, because the jumpsuit fastens quite tightly and covers the neck well, so you end up with three layers of clothing. This is quite enough when it is minus 10-20 degrees outside. If it is colder, and you decide to walk, then add another layer - under a jacket or body with long sleeves - a thick cotton T-shirt, and on the legs - tights or sliders.
