Step 1
In 2011, the size of the lump sum for the birth of a child is 11,703 rubles.
Step 2
In order to apply for a childbirth allowance at the place of work, you will need:
- application for the payment of benefits;
- passports of both parents of the child (copies and originals);
- child's birth certificate (copy and original);
-certificate issued by the registry office (original);
- a certificate from the place of work of the second parent stating that the lump sum at the birth of a child was not previously paid.
Step 3
In order to apply for a childbirth allowance in the district department of social protection of the population, you will need:
- application for the payment of benefits;
- passports of both parents of the child (copies and originals);
- child's birth certificate (copy and original);
-certificate issued by the registry office (original);
- work books of both parents, with notes of dismissal or other documents confirming the absence of employment.
Step 4
Payment of a lump sum for the birth of a child is carried out within ten days from the date of submission of all the necessary documents.
