Creative activities with a child are a wonderful form of recreation for adults. And what could be better than a rest spent with benefit! During the manufacture of crafts, the child learns a lot, learns the world and makes amazing discoveries - for example, he learns how a beautiful and mysterious butterfly works. The craft created from the simplest materials at hand is an excellent visual aid for the study of this amazing insect. Be sure: the information obtained in the process of your own creativity is assimilated instantly and forever.
Necessary
- - a roll of toilet paper;
- - colored or plain paper;
- - scissors;
- - paints, brushes / finger paints / felt-tip pens / pencils / wax crayons;
- - wire / flexible pipe cleaners for crafts;
- - glue / double-sided tape.
Instructions
Step 1
Draw on paper the shape of the butterfly's wings: it can be stylized as a simple "heart" or more close to the natural shape. Determine the size of the wings based on the size of the toilet paper roll. Attach it to the album sheet and draw one wing, and the second can be circled in the light along the contour of the first (by folding a sheet of paper in half).
Step 2
Color the butterfly wings with your child using any materials. Draw abstract patterns on the surface of the wings, or make them look like natural ones. Finger paints can produce a very beautiful "pointillism" effect, in which a drawing is composed of many points.
Step 3
Alternatively, you can apply the applique technique to decorate the butterfly. Cut out various shapes from colored paper: circles, rhombuses, triangles, flowers, hearts, stars, etc. Let the child stick them on the wings in random order or in accordance with the intended pattern.
Step 4
While the paint and glue on the wings are drying, work on the body of the butterfly. Draw the eyes, spout and mouth on the toilet paper roll in the appropriate place. Let your baby color the rest of the body as he pleases. You can give direction to his creativity (for example, tell me that horizontal stripes or "polka dots" look very nice), but let him do the main work himself.
Step 5
When all the details of the butterfly are dry, cut the wings along the contour and glue them together (although, both of them can be originally drawn in one piece). And then glue the wings from the back to her torso, smearing a small strip in the middle with glue. Press the parts firmly together and let the craft dry.
Step 6
The final stage is making butterfly antennae. You can cut them out of paper and glue them in the area above the "muzzle" of the insect. Alternatively, use thin, multi-colored, fluffy pipe cleaners. Cut a piece of such a brush so that it is long enough for two tendrils. Bend it in half, bend the tips into tendrils and attach the entire structure from the inside of the torso (roll) using strong double-sided tape. In the same way, you can make antennae from ordinary wire.
