Raising a child is a complex process that requires efforts from parents. Sometimes they give up and make gross mistakes, for example, they humiliate their child with words or actions. This should not be done by an adult seeking to educate a worthy member of society.
Instructions
Step 1
Talk to your child as equals. Punishment without giving a reason is the gross mistake of many parents. Your baby should always know what exactly he is doing wrong, why it is forbidden and condemned by adults. Don't shout or be rude to your child to prove your advantage. So you will only undermine your authority and trite intimidate an immature person.
Step 2
Eliminate public punishment. Children experience shame and humiliation when mothers scold and spank them in front of friends and just strangers. Teach your child to stop after your comment or glance, and start to analyze the situation only when you are alone. At the very least, you need to try to talk to him face to face, without witnesses.
Step 3
Never use physical force on a child. Slaps on the buttocks, cuffs, sharp and rough movements - all this affects the child's psyche in an extremely negative way. Restrain your emotions, manage your anger, and learn to solve problems in an adult way - by conversation, not proof of strength.
Step 4
Do not use threats, intimidation, or the like. This can lead to serious health problems and mental illness. And the fear-based parent-child relationship can hardly be called correct.
