The day a child goes to school for the first time is one of the most significant moments in his life. From that moment on, the daily routine changes dramatically, and the arrangement of the workplace is a necessary component in the context of this event. Not only academic performance, but also the health status of the child directly depends on how this workplace will be organized.

Instructions

Step 1

Ideal, of course, if the child has a separate room. In this case, the space should be divided into zones: play area, work area and sleep area. A window seat is best for the work area. So that the child during work is not distracted by the events taking place on the street, the table must be placed on the right. The walls around the workplace should be decorated in calm neutral colors, bright colorful accents will constantly distract the student's attention. There should be nothing superfluous in the interior of the working area, only everything you need for study. In addition to a table and a chair, you need a book rack, a wall cabinet or a shelf. Do not place hanging furniture directly above the table - this will create a feeling of discomfort. On this wall, it is better to equip a student organizer in the form of a cork board and several pockets made of fabric of a dull shade for all sorts of school trifles. And distractions such as your favorite toys, your computer, and the TV should be well outside your work area. If there is no other place for a computer in the room, then you should buy a corner table and place the monitor to the side, and not on the work surface.

Step 2

What to do when the apartment is small and there is no nursery? In this case, in the common room, you need to allocate a place for a working corner, where the child can retire. You can create a comfortable closed space using all kinds of sliding partitions, shelving, and even a closet. In this situation, the main thing is to ensure silence and calmness for the child during work.

Step 3

The necessary set consists of a student's desk, a comfortable chair and some place for textbooks and notebooks (drawers, racks, shelves, cupboards). The future student must definitely take part in the choice of furniture for his working corner. You can safely buy a table and a highchair for a child if: the back rests comfortably on the back of the chair; legs bent at an angle do not hang, but stand on the floor; the size of the working surface of the table is within 60-80 cm (depth), and 120-160 cm (width); the location of the working surface of the table at the level of the child's chest. The surface of the table, located at an angle, will be an additional convenience for the student's posture.

Step 4

It is very important to properly think over the lighting of the work area for work in the evening. Naturally, there should be a table lamp on the working surface on the left, but only as an additional, but by no means the only source of light! You should think about the combined lighting of the room, without sudden changes that contribute to the deterioration of vision. The light from the table lamp should be evenly scattered over the working surface of the table, and in no case should the child get directly into the eyes. Competent organization of the workspace for the future student will be the key to his successful learning and will avoid serious problems that arise in the educational process.
