Many parents are faced with the problem of how to properly deal with the baby, how to tell everything that is needed, but not to overload him. It is not easy to organize all the mass of information that can be found. A week of thematic classes is the optimal, well thought out and planned option.
The world is changing rapidly. And so that today's baby develops harmoniously, absorbs all the huge masses of information he needs, various development schools, children's classes and centers for the smallest are opening. Caring parents strive to take their child there almost in six months. But even all this is not enough if you do not deal with the child at home. After all, who, no matter how mom and dad, will explain to the baby what to eat and what, who is a grandmother by profession and how the beloved cat meows.
You can start working within the framework of the thematic week with a child of one and a half years. It will be difficult earlier. But when the baby has grown up - and the work goes well, and everyone has fun and interesting.
Where to begin? The easiest place to start is by defining a topic for the week. To start classes, it is better to choose generalized, subject questions. The topics should be what the kids are familiar with. It can be: fruits and vegetables, equipment and transport, nature (the world around), people, dishes and furniture, and others.
After the topic has been chosen, it is necessary to think over tasks and activities that visually, informatively, and most importantly, can cheerfully introduce the child to something new. Assignments should be thought out so that development is comprehensive. Attention, thinking, sensing and fine motor skills, speech and articulation, creativity, musical and physical development - these are the main things worth paying attention to.
It is convenient to work by making a plan for every day. This will make it possible to come up with different thematic tasks and cover all areas. You can read books, look at flashcards, find posters on the topic. For creativity, paints, pencils, applications, plasticine rugs, modeling dough are suitable. Anything that has enough imagination. Be sure to listen to music and do physical exercises. Kids love sensory boxes, everything is loose, all sorts of small items that can be transferred from container to container.
The child will like to read a book about a bear with his mother (during the week “animals”), then look at pictures, walk with his father like a bear, make an appliqué of a bear with a barrel, immediately learning brown, and may even eat delicious, sweet honey.
