But there are situations when the husband simply does not want to work, and in an unstable economy this is a real problem. What if my husband doesn't want to work and provide for his family?
There are three main reasons why a man is unemployed:
- he never worked after graduation;
- he was fired from his job to reduce staff;
- the husband himself quit his job for some reason, for example, poor working conditions or a low salary.
If this happened when the couple is already married, then you will have to look for joint ways out, but if the marriage is just ahead, then you should think about whether you need to marry an unemployed person.
If the husband is temporarily unemployed, the problem is easily solvable, but if the spouse does not work and the days pass, turning into weeks, weeks into months, and nothing changes, then the situation becomes critical. Of course, when a spouse is actively looking for a job, looks through vacancies, sends out a resume and does not refuse temporary earnings, then you need to be patient and just wait, but if the husband sleeps as much as he pleases, spends the whole day in front of the TV or computer, here it is necessary to take the situation in female hands.
First of all, you need to talk with your husband, ask him about success in finding a job, about new vacancies, about plans for the future, etc. It is imperative to touch on the topic of the family budget, tell that there is a sorely lack of money, and that his salary will allow the family to live much better. We can say that things are a little worse at your job than before, for example, there is a threat of staff cuts, a decrease in salary or unpaid leave, most often this will be a guide for a man to action. It is imperative to choose the right motivation, we can say that something will be bought into the house, it will be possible to change or buy a car, some kind of equipment or tools for my husband, and so on.
If no persuasion, motivation and heart-to-heart talks help, then you need to act radically:
- firstly, it is necessary to monitor daily what vacancies the husband has viewed, where he sent his resume, you can secretly look through the browser history and e-mail to find out if the husband was looking for a job at all;
- secondly, you can blame all the housework on your husband: if he is at home, let him wash, iron, teach lessons with children, prepare food - this will give the man an understanding that the life of a housewife is not so joyful;
- thirdly, when sending your husband to the store, you can give him a strictly fixed amount of money, and upon returning you can ask for a check.
If this does not help, then you can begin to slowly nag your husband, for the lack of lunch, for unverified lessons, for a full trash can, and so on. Some women deny their spouse intimacy, it is possible, of course, but it will be more expensive for yourself.
