To create a fabulous childhood territory does not require large expenditures. Furniture in such a room can be decorated with ordinary napkins.

New furniture can be ordinary and boring, while old furniture can be slightly damaged. Transform furniture, make it more fun: for example, decorate the sideboards and bed with stickers or napkins with a pattern you like, or paint them in a different color.

If the lacquered furniture is scratched, it is better to remove the lacquer with sandpaper and cover with a new layer. If the paint has peeled off, the furniture can be repainted in bright colors, for example, by making the legs of the stool multi-colored.

The most economical option is to glue a napkin with a pattern with PVA glue and cover it with any inexpensive varnish. A more expensive but durable way is to first apply a special primer to the surface, and glue the napkin with decoupage glue and use natural wood varnish.

Select the picture, divide the napkin into layers and cut out the details you like from the top layer. Attach them to the surface of the furniture and trace along the contour with a pencil. Coat the surface inside the outline first with wood primer and then white acrylic.

Dry each layer well with a hair dryer. Apply glue to the drawing from the center to the edges, smoothing out air bubbles. Remember that a wet wipe becomes translucent, so cover the area under the drawing with white acrylic. Cover the dried design with varnish.
