Your child went to school. This is a rather difficult period in his life. New people, new responsibilities, daily lessons and homework. Of course, he needs your help, because his future studies depend on how he learns to allocate his time and energy.

Step 1
Do not force your child to start homework as soon as they return from school. Let him have lunch, rest for two hours, and then start work. But postponing school for the evening is also not worth it - the child will simply get tired.
Step 2
Tell the student to do their homework on their own. You can only help. At school, the teacher has already explained the material to him and at home you just need to repeat what you have gone through. But if suddenly difficulties arise and it turns out that not everything was clear in the lesson, you will definitely come to the rescue.
Step 3
Don't do homework for children! If there is a difficulty in solving some kind of problem, analyze the incomprehensible material using the example of similar problems, but different ones. And what is given, the child must decide for himself. Otherwise, he will very quickly learn that you solve all incomprehensible tasks, and will not try to do something on his own.
Step 4
Make sure your child is not distracted while doing the lessons. Exercising with the TV or music on won't do much good. Agree in advance with the baby that he will not keep extraneous toys on the table that will distract his attention. Explain that talking with friends on the phone should be postponed until later.
Step 5
Help your child make a lesson plan. To do this, determine which items are easier for him, and which ones have to spend more time. It is better to complete tasks from simple to complex. Otherwise, completing a difficult task for him, the child may be so tired that he will not be able to complete the rest of the tasks.
Step 6
Do not rush the student, do not rush. All people are different; it is possible that he needs more time to master the material.
Step 7
Check the quality of the completed assignment. If the child is mistaken, tell him about it, but do not immediately point out specific mistakes, but first ask them to find them.
Step 8
Don't forget to compliment your favorite student after completing your homework. He tried so hard.
