A conversation with unfamiliar people sometimes reveals their essence from the first words. In order to understand what kind of person is in front of you, you need to direct the conversation in the right direction and carefully monitor the answers and reactions of the interlocutor.

Step 1
Pay attention to movement and facial expressions. A person who comes up with ridiculous stories to maintain the image of a cool macho or popular beauty will be in constant motion. He will bounce, wave his arms, speak quickly, and stumble in his own words. Covering his mouth with his hand, he will unknowingly let you know that he is lying.
Step 2
A person who is nervous during a conversation will betray this by constantly fingering objects, scratching any part of the body (psychological itching occurs with nervous tension), and a wandering gaze. If the interlocutor is bored during a conversation with you, he will be quite silent, maintaining a conversation on his part will be the usual nods, he will look for something to do for entertainment, for example, touch the surrounding objects and consider them.

Become a listener. Most people love to talk, especially about themselves. But such an opportunity is rarely given, because in conversations everyone tries to insert a couple of phrases, interrupting the interlocutor. Do it differently: with a smile on your face, listen to the outpouring of your soul, maintaining interest with nods of your head and clarifying questions. Most likely, your interlocutor will be so happy with the listener that he will be brought in, and he will give you a full set of information about himself.
Step 4
Ask so-called open-ended questions. They leave the interlocutor room for an answer, which will play into your hands. Don't interrupt the monologue, you will learn a lot more.
Step 5
Maintain the conversation as it fades. For example, the interlocutor mentioned something, immediately began to regret it and fell silent. You need to immediately ask a question to clarify the details, without missing a moment.
Step 6
Ask questions about family and friends. A relationship with them can tell a lot. Respect and love for the family, frequent meetings and joint trips will indicate to you that you are a reliable person capable of a strong union. Relationships with friends will tell you what the person is like outside the home. Clubs, bars and spree are not in his favor. Traveling, team sports and similar entertainment will be indicative of a mature personality who has found its place in life.
