Write a note warning that your son or daughter will not be able to attend school for one reason or another if it is not possible to contact the school administration or class teacher by phone. Pass this note to the teacher or administration with a student at the school, friend or classmate of your child. Or ask them to verbally convey your request.

Choose really good reasons to justify the child's absence from class - an urgent trip, physical illness, family matters that require the obligatory presence of a son or daughter.
