Finger painting
Among games up to one year old, drawing with finger paints occupies a special place, as it contributes to the development of fine motor skills, creative thinking, and memory. It is best to purchase special paints designed for children under one year old. They do not contain any harmful substances that could cause poisoning if ingested. When drawing with a child of 7 months, it is important to properly organize the workplace. It is most convenient to practice on the floor or at a feeding table. If you are afraid that the child will get everything dirty, you can spend the first lessons right in the bathroom.
Dough modeling
Development up to a year must necessarily include modeling lessons, since they contribute to the development of fine motor skills, which, in turn, contributes to the earlier development of speech. Plasticine for children at the age of 7 months is not suitable because of its hardness, and the dough is very soft and plastic. You can make the dough yourself from flour and water, or you can buy a special dough for modeling in the store. You can buy a sorter at a children's store or make your own from improvised means. For a seven-month-old baby, it is quite enough to take an iron can from under the powdered milk mixture and make a hole in the lid with a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the lids from the baby puree.
