Your baby may not be spending enough energy during the day, walking and moving a little. Add more active games to his life, for example, ball games, clockwork toys for which he can reach, crawl and run. Do not forget about the psychological stress, in addition to physical. Talk to your baby, sing songs, listen to music, dance. Spend more time outdoors, massage and exercise. At the same time, make sure that the baby does not overwork. Do not change his regime very abruptly. Spend all the entertainment and outdoor games in the morning and afternoon, leaving quiet activities for the evening so that the baby is not overexcited before going to bed.
If your baby sleeps very long during the day, try to gradually reduce this time. In order to rest, gain strength for games, two hours are enough for a healthy child. Try to wake up the baby, first five minutes earlier, then ten or more, until his daytime sleep reaches the norm.
When preparing for a night's sleep, follow the usual baby ritual (bathing - feeding - lullaby), in which bathing, soothing and relaxing to the baby, should take an important place. You can add a decoction of soothing herbs to the water - mint, valerian.
During night feeds or diaper changes, do not talk to your baby so that he can gradually learn that night is not a time for socializing. It is convenient to put the baby to sleep in a special bag (envelope), which you can buy or sew yourself. In the envelope, the baby can move freely, but at the same time it will not open and freeze, will not wake himself up with sharp movements of his legs or arms.
