How to make a walker

It is necessary

Plastic or polycarbonate frame, 2 reinforced or metal arcs, 7 furniture wheels, fabric, foam rubber, liquid nails

Instructions

Step 1

Take measurements for the future product. You are interested in the diameter of the circle of the walker frame (it depends on the width of your doorways and the step of the baby), the height of the child, or rather the length of his legs.

Step 2

Using a construction knife, cut a frame out of a polycarbonate sheet. As a rule, its diameter is approximately 70 cm on the outside. Make the width up to 7 cm. Carefully glue the cut points with dense wide tape, it can be reinforced, it is advisable first to melt the sharp edges with a soldering iron.

Step 3

Mark with a marker the places where the wheels are attached to the frame and drill holes according to the diameter of the fasteners.

Step 4

Cut out the upper frame from the remnants of polycarbonate (it holds the baby's seat and fixes the arcs) and also carefully glue it with tape.

Step 5

Mark on the arcs a segment equal to the length of the child's legs and add another 3-5 cm. Cut.

Step 6

Mark the attachment points for the arches on the upper and lower frames. Make the necessary holes and secure the arcs by beveling the top to the bottom a little. Thus, you get a design that resembles a curved table. The upper frame will "stand" over the lower one just at a height equal to the length of the baby's legs.

Step 7

Cover the upper frame with a cloth (it is possible with padding polyester or foam rubber inside so that the child does not hit)

Step 8

Now cut a back cushion from fabric and foam. Sew the panties you sewn to it, which will hold the child in the upper frame. Secure the stitched inside of the upper frame. Check the strength. It remains to attach the wheels to the lower frame and decorate the walker with bright applications, hang the rattles.
