And the baby is full of energy and is not going to sleep. Focus on your family's lifestyle. If it is difficult for you personally to fit in in the evening while the baby is doing this, then it’s time to switch to one nap during the day.

During the transition to one dream in the afternoon in the morning, it will be difficult for the child: he will need to reorganize to stay awake longer. So be prepared to shift your morning walk and lunch early. In the evening, the baby should also be laid early enough - about 20 hours. Moreover, if you notice that your baby wakes up a couple of hours after going to bed at night, be ready to go to bed by that moment. When the baby wakes up, he should see either sleeping parents or getting ready for bed. Otherwise, putting him back to sleep will be extremely difficult.

Most likely, a single sleep will be long enough. If the baby slept twice during the day for 40 minutes, then once he can sleep for 2-3 hours. Although this, of course, is not a rule: each baby is different. And the child will need time for the regime to be established.

If you intend to transfer the baby to a one-time nap during the day, then try to put him to bed well-fed. On an empty stomach, the baby will sleep less. It is better to feed your baby not after sleep, but before.

First of all, focus on your intuition and baby's well-being. If you see that the transition to a one-time nap is too difficult (he cries a lot, does not want to eat, etc.), then postpone changing his daily routine.
