A child who is overly keen on a toy piano can bring the whole family to exhaustion. Now, if he learned to play some melodies, it would be a completely different matter. It is possible to teach a young pianist, but for this an adult must first get used to this simple instrument himself.
It is necessary
- - toy piano;
- - sheet music for piano or solfeggio textbook.
Instructions
Step 1
Children's pianos come in many varieties. They, for example, are divided into mechanical and electronic. In turn, mechanical ones are with a chromatic scale or with a natural one. In the first case, the black keys work the same as on a regular piano, in the second they are simply drawn. Unfortunately, toy pianos are almost impossible to tune, so when you buy, you need to choose one that gives a more or less correct sound. As for electronic pianos, they are mini-synthesizers. Such tools may have the most unexpected design, but their essence does not change from this. They give an electronic sound, and the scale can be, like mechanical pianos, natural or chromatic.
Step 2
Instructions are usually attached to the piano, which indicate, among other things, which key should give which sound. Instructions may include notes of simple pieces. The piano keyboard is the same as the real one, only small, and it consists of one or two octaves.
Step 3
A mechanical piano with painted black keys can only play melodies written in C major. You can easily find them, for example, in the solfeggio textbook for the first grade of the children's music school, in the “School of playing the piano” or in the piano tutorial. They are on the first pages. You will also learn about durations from these tutorials. The child can also be explained how long the sound lasts, indicated by a white circle or a black circle with a stick.
Step 4
Try to play a piece on one sound. This can be, for example, an army signal, where the sounds differ only in duration. Since the keys are small, you have to play with one finger. But do not clench the rest of your fingers into a fist, the hand should be free in any case. But the child can be immediately taught to play with all fingers. A baby piano can be a great tool for developing fine motor skills.
Step 5
Practice a melody with several sounds. This can be, for example, the songs "Cornflower", "Merry Geese", "Whether in the garden or in the garden." The sounds in them are located side by side, there are no large intervals - the most suitable repertoire for a children's piano. As a rule, in all music collections, these melodies are printed on the first pages. They can be in the instructions for the toy, and in the collection of pieces for the metallophone or xylophone. The child will most likely just have to show you where to press. But you can also make special notes for it, such as those that are now often used to learn how to play the xylophone. Mark each key with a colored sticker. Write down the piece with circles of the same color as the keys.
Step 6
A toy piano can be part of an orchestra. His part, however, will be very simple - you can play a fragment of the melody or take a simple chord when the melody is led by another instrument. As a solo instrument, you can take a guitar, recorder or metallophone. A violin, accordion or real piano should not be used, as they are too loud and will simply drown out the toy instrument.
