If you decide to give birth to a child, this does not mean that you just need to stop using protection and start leading a correct lifestyle, and after a month the test will show the cherished two strips. As practice shows, in every fifth woman, conception occurs only after 6-12 months of regular attempts. This may indicate "missing" on the right days.

Instructions

Step 1

The onset of ovulation is accompanied by a variety of signs and symptoms. A woman may feel pulling pains in the lower abdomen, as before menstruation, and acute pain in the side, in the area of the ovary in which ovulation occurs. Also, there are sudden mood swings, irritability and irascibility, dizziness and nausea. But still, these signs may have other causes.

Step 2

Calendar method for determining ovulation. Ovulation usually occurs mid-cycle. That is, with a cycle of 28 days, ovulation usually occurs 14-15 days from the beginning of the cycle. But this method is only suitable for women with a regular cycle, and even then it cannot be called effective enough.

Step 3

Regular measurement of basal temperature. To do this, every morning immediately after waking up, without getting out of bed, it is necessary to measure the temperature in the rectum for 5 minutes. The results must be recorded. On the day of ovulation, you will notice a sharp jump in temperature. After that, the basal temperature will remain at an elevated level until the start of the next menstruation.

Step 4

Determination of cervical mucus. The entrance to the uterus in every woman is closed with a mucous plug, which remains thick until ovulation occurs. When you ovulate, this mucus becomes stringy and watery.

Step 5

With the advent of individual microscopes on the market, it became possible to determine ovulation at home using the fern method, or, as it is also called, the saliva crystallization method. It turns out that on the day of ovulation, when female saliva dries, it leaves crystals in the form of a fern leaf on the glass, which is perfectly visible under a microscope. All of the above methods can be used to achieve a quick effect, especially for women with a regular cycle. If the menstrual cycle is irregular, then it would be better to use the method of determining the basal temperature or the method of saliva crystallization.
