Writing poetry for children is a very difficult task. But all parents, as well as educators and teachers always want a holiday with their families, a matinee in kindergarten or any event at school for children not only to like it, but also to remain in their memory for many years. And when the holidays are decorated with poems, they have more chances for grown-up children to remember them with trepidation and love.

Step 1
Start by choosing a topic on which to write your poems for your child. This should be a reason or holiday that children understand, for example, New Year or Knowledge Day. Write on a separate sheet of paper those phrases or sentences that you would definitely like to hear in your poems. Do not overuse long and complex words, as children may not understand verses with complex participial and participial phrases, intricate phrases and ornate word forms.
Step 2
Describe the situation in words so that the picture of the action is seen clearly and vividly through the eyes of the child. Rhyme must be present in the verses. Practice verbally choosing rhymes for words and objects around you, and only then proceed to a specific poem.
Step 3
Do not be lazy, do a good job on the image. Apply beautiful definitions to clarify the characteristics of your characters. Use synonyms so your poem will be easy to remember. If the first time you can't write a bright and foldable poem, do not be discouraged and do not give up what you have begun. As a rule, poetry is not written in minutes or even hours. Be prepared that you will spend a long time on this matter. But believe that the result will be great.
Step 4
Don't be afraid to imagine and fantasize. At first it will seem to you that this is very stupid, but when you get a taste, you will certainly feel that this is exactly what you were looking for. Knowing your children well, you can easily find the words that you want to hear from their lips.
Step 5
Write often and a lot. Let a lot of this not be useful to you at all, but there will be plenty to choose from. Always remember to be literate. If you do not know how to spell and sound a specific phrase, it is better to refer to the grammatical or explanatory dictionary, reference book.
