Parents who have a son dream that he will become a real man, that is, brave, strong, reliable, responsible. But for this, the boy needs to be properly educated. Alas, serious mistakes are often made during upbringing, especially if the son is raised by a single mother. As a result, a grown man, weak-willed, indecisive, lack of initiative, belongs to the stronger sex only nominally. What should you pay special attention to when raising a boy, what mistakes to avoid?

Proper parenting of a son

In no case should a boy be raised as a girl. Single mothers, as well as overbearing, energetic mothers who dominate the family, often make a gross mistake: they raise their son as a daughter. Moreover, women not only try to accustom him, first of all, to impeccable order, accuracy, cleanliness (one can hardly object to this), but also demand unquestioning obedience from the boy, trying to protect him from the slightest risk. In addition, such "caring" mothers with perseverance truly worthy of better use, eradicate even the smallest manifestations of initiative, independence in their son, not to mention healthy aggressiveness, which is naturally inherent in the majority of the stronger sex! “I know better what you need and how you need to act” - this is the unshakable principle of such parents. And then, having achieved the logical result, these same mothers shrug their shoulders in complete bewilderment: "Why did he grow up with such a weak-willed rag?"

Do not make such mistakes so that later you do not have to belatedly regret!

How to make a boy grow up to be a real man

Train the boy to work from an early age, but be sure to allow him to take the initiative, to act through trial and error. Give and help as little as possible. Only in this way will he learn to make decisions on his own and take responsibility.

The father's example plays a huge role. If a boy sees that his father treats his mother with love and respect, takes into account her opinion, helps her so that she does not get too tired around the house, then he himself, when he grows up and has a family, will almost certainly behave in the same way. The father must teach his son how to handle tools, for example, tighten the nuts.

Parents should not demand from their son that he obey “at a glance,” all the more so, eradicate any manifestations of aggressiveness in him. Boys often clash and fight - this is a natural phenomenon. But, of course, everything is good in moderation. It is necessary to inspire the son that force can be used only as a last resort, when there is no other way out - for example, to defend oneself, or to defend a weak person who is being offended. If your son had a little fight with a peer, you should not go deal with the boys in the yard. Your boy should be able to stand up for himself, and not hide behind the backs of his parents.
