"Tame" child - this concept is familiar to every parent. If a mom or dad only has to hear about such a baby from friends, they are jealous of themselves. And if days and nights have turned into carrying a child in your arms, this has already become a problem.
The period of carrying babies on the hands takes, on average, 1 year. As soon as the child begins to walk on his own, he no longer needs additional means of transportation in the form of his mother's and father's hands. But what about up to a year? Consider some features of children of this age.
Why does the child ask for his arms
What interests the child most during this period? Peace. Even if it is still limited by the walls of your own room. Agree, this is very convenient: ask your mother in her arms and point your finger in which direction to move on to get to know the environment. From time to time you can give him such an opportunity, because as soon as the baby learns to crawl, he will climb everywhere by himself, and even where it is not necessary.
Falling asleep is the most difficult thing. This is where the already exhausted parents lose the last remnants of their strength, forced to rock him at night. Of course, light rocking will help you fall asleep. An alternative is a pendulum bed. A special mount will help fix the bed after the child has fallen asleep.
It often happens that the baby needs to be rocked after feeding. And he is not very happy about his mother's desire to remove him from the breast. Then be close to him: lie or, in extreme cases, stand, holding in your arms, but do not walk, shaking him. Let the child get used to the fact that mom and jiggle are not synonymous.
If the baby is already tame, then gradually replace the carrying on the hands with being with him. After all, often the desire to be in her arms is caused by the fear that the mother has left (and for a child in the first months of life, the mother in the next room is an alarming signal. Read books to him, sing songs, or just do housework in the baby's field of vision.

Even hunger can be the cause. It seems to mom that the baby is capricious, but he simply does not have enough milk, and it would be time to feed with a mixture.
