The Government of St. Petersburg provides support to newborns from low-income families in the form of additional social benefits. A personalized plastic card is issued especially for these purposes. The funds received cannot be cashed, but they can be used to pay for purchases of children's goods in the shops "Children", "Healthy baby", "Detsky Mir" and others participating in the program.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a certificate of income in the form of 2-NDFL at work. To receive monthly subsidies, your total household income must be less than 1.5 times the subsistence level per person. Check with your social welfare office to see if you are eligible for the program, or figure it out yourself. Find out the amount of the living wage for the current year, multiply by 1, 5. Now divide the total income by the number of family members. If the resulting amount is below the required level, you can count on state support.
Step 2
Photocopy both parents' passports. One of them must have a temporary or permanent registration of the city of St. Petersburg. Take the child's registration certificate from the passport office. If such a document cannot be obtained, contact your local pediatrician. The doctor must issue a certificate of joint residence of the child with a parent registered in St. Petersburg. Photocopy your baby's birth certificate and parents' marriage certificate (if available). Contact the antenatal clinic where the pregnant woman was registered to take a certificate of examinations performed in the early stages of pregnancy.
Step 3
Contact the social welfare department with all of the listed documents. Write an application for a social plastic card. In rare cases, birth certificates of older children and a certificate from the region where one of the parents is registered stating that no child benefits were paid to him there are required.
