The best food for a newborn baby is breast milk. Experts recommend breastfeeding babies up to one year old, and some even up to 2 years old. But already from 3-4 months the first complementary foods should be introduced. So the baby is gradually transferred to the common table. You can use ready-made industrial meals as the first complementary food or prepare yourself. But in all cases, one must understand that food products must satisfy the needs of a growing organism.

Instructions

Step 1

The timing of the introduction of the first complementary foods should be determined by the local doctor. For health reasons, some children are introduced to "new" products later. It is advisable to keep a diary in which you should indicate the date of the introduction of the new product and the body's reaction to it.

Step 2

In the process of accustoming a child's body to a new diet, several rules should be observed:

- give complementary foods before breastfeeding;

- enter gradually, starting with small doses;

- switch to a new complementary food after 7 days. So you can understand how the baby's body reacts to a new product;

- if the child has an allergic reaction or digestion is upset, then the introduction of this product should be stopped;

- you can not give the same complementary foods twice a day.

Step 3

First of all, the baby should be introduced to products with low allergenic properties. This is the juice of green apples, then - pear, plum, apricot, peach, blackcurrant, carrot, cherry. Start with clarified juices, then serve with pulp. The initial dose should be 3 to 5 drops, then gradually increase to the daily rate. To calculate the norm, you need to multiply the baby's age by 10 (3 months - 30 ml, 4 - 40 ml, etc.). After the body gets used to single-component juices, you can enter multicomponent. These are juices that consist of two types of fruits: apple-carrot, apple-plum, etc.

Step 4

After two weeks, fruit and berry puree should be introduced. Start with applesauce and have your baby eat 1/2 teaspoon. Gradually increasing to 2 tablespoons over 7 days. The daily value is calculated similarly to juices. Then you can give mashed cherries, pears, plums, cherries, banana.

Step 5

With 4, 5-5, 5, vegetable puree is introduced with 1-2 teaspoons. For 10 days, the volume is increased to 100 grams. First, they give zucchini, then pumpkin, carrots, cauliflower, and later white cabbage.

Step 6

From 5 months you should start giving milk porridge. However, if the baby has milk intolerance or allergy, then boil it in water. First of all, let's give rice, buckwheat, corn porridge. Then - oatmeal and semolina. Porridge made from several cereals with the addition of vegetable puree is of great nutritional value. They should only be given by the end of the first year.

Step 7

From 5-6 months you can give your baby cottage cheese. Only the first time it should be thoroughly rubbed with breast milk. Start with 1/2 teaspoon.

Step 8

From 6 months it is recommended to introduce the yolk, starting at 1/8 and gradually bringing up to 1/2 per day. It is not recommended to give protein to children under one year old, it can cause allergies.

Step 9

From 7 months old, you can give your child wheat bread and meat. Lean meat is preferable: turkey, chicken, veal, rabbit, pork. First, they give the child in the form of mashed potatoes, and when the first teeth appear - cutlets, meatballs.

Step 10

At 8 months, kefir is introduced, replacing one breastfeeding. From 9 months it is recommended to give fish. Give preference to low-fat varieties. Start with 1/2 teaspoon, working up to 60 grams.

Thus, by the end of the first year of life, the child is completely transferred to the common table.
