All parents want to raise a brave, honest, educated and generous man from their son. But sometimes parents spoil their children so much that they completely forget about the main qualities that must be developed in a boy.
Activity
If the son is still very young, let him crawl on the floor, climb onto various objects, reach for something. Your task is to monitor safety, but not to prohibit under the pretext of "kill yourself!" You will see how exploratory and cognitive activity is added to physical activity. Maintain this interest.
Purposefulness
Avoid phrases: "this is difficult for you" or "you are still small." Let the child try. If you see that your son is ready to give up half-way, try to convince him how important it is to bring what you started to the end. And when you succeed, rejoice with him. In fact, small victories in childhood lead to great achievements in the future.
Courage
For a son to become braver, it is not enough to say that one should not be afraid of "nonsense". Fear can only be overcome by doing what you fear. Play active games with your son more often, where you need to defeat someone according to the plot. Playing in the dark and confined spaces also develops courage.
Education
Always try to answer your son's questions. It's good if you look for answers together in encyclopedias and the Internet. Expand his horizons: talk about interesting things and events. Develop logical thinking - forgive your son to draw independent conclusions.
Honesty
A person can be honest only if he is not afraid that he will be punished for the truth. Develop a rule in yourself: if he himself admitted and tried to correct the mistake, then there will be no punishment. And for the shown honesty and courage, do not forget to praise your son.
Generosity
So that your son does not grow up selfish, explain to him why you need to share the most delicious with your parents, brothers and sisters. Teach him to take care of his family, sacrifice his own interests for the sake of people, paying attention to their mood and condition (fatigue, illness, and so on).
