Sexual desire in different life periods can either fade away or be renewed. However, recessions in intimate relationships and abstinence have a very strong effect on the human body.
The effect of sexual abstinence on the human body
At the age of 20 to 45, abstinence does not cause any particular harm to health, because very often there is a sublimation of sexual energy into another channel: sports, art, work or any other occupation.
In men, after prolonged abstinence at the physiological level, there is an inhibition of sexual desire. Thus, the longer there is no sexual activity in men, the less often there is a sexual desire.
In women, abstinence leads more to psychological problems, since they need pleasure from sex and orgasm directly for a stable psychological state. In their absence, most of the fair sex develop irritability, irascibility, up to cardinal changes in character. Very often for women, sex becomes a stage of close communication, trust, without it, the world is perceived through the prism of principles, criticism is manifested in everything, a tendency to condemnation, which is often transferred to the sphere of interpersonal relations in general (the professional sphere is no exception).
In the absence of a permanent partner, you can resort to masturbation, which will help relieve sexual tension.
Resumption of sex life
With abstinence in women, there is at first a sharp jump in the increase in desire, but then a sharp decline, which can lead to absolute reluctance. At the same time, after the resumption of sexual life, a woman may experience discomfort, up to pain in the vagina, which is due to a decrease in the production of special lubricant. The discharge process takes much longer, some women begin to experience orgasms only after a few months.
In order to restore and "renew" your body after abstinence, it is necessary to extend the preliminary sexual intercourse for at least 30 minutes, practice cunnilingus more often and use lubricants until the vagina begins to produce a sufficient amount of lubrication.
Despite the fact that sex is an excellent prevention of prostatitis and gynecological diseases, there is no need to make it a duty. It must be remembered that when forced to have sex, if non-physiological, then psychological problems can also appear for both you and your sexual partner.
