An increasing number of services for citizens of the Russian Federation are becoming available in electronic form. In connection with this improvement in service and for minors, it became necessary to obtain a personal account number in the GPI (compulsory pension insurance). Registration of SNILS - insurance number of an individual personal account - will allow the child to take part in a variety of insurance areas.
It is necessary
- - application for registration in the Pension Fund of a minor;
- - birth certificate of the child;
- - applicant's passport.
Instructions
Step 1
The Insurance Certificate of Compulsory Pension Insurance (OPS) is a small green plastic card. This document confirms that the citizen of Russia is registered in the Pension Insurance system. Until recently, such a certificate could only be obtained by those who have already reached the age of majority, or during employment.
Step 2
The main content of a green plastic card is the insurance number assigned to an individual personal account with a PF. This number is abbreviated as SNILS, and in accordance with current legislation, it can also be obtained for a child - regardless of age. It is assumed that in the near future, one card will combine an extensive set of documents - travel, financial, insurance, identity.
Step 3
Apply for SNILS to the Pension Fund management - this can be done both at the place of residence and at the place of registration. They will provide a complete list of documents. If it is possible to immediately provide all the documents according to the list, it will only have to wait a couple of weeks, and the child will finally be registered in the GPT system. The parent who made the application is given a personal account number assigned to the child.
Step 4
In providing social and medical services to the population, it is possible to issue SNILS for a child who is not a citizen of Russia, but lives on its territory - temporarily or permanently. This was done due to the fact that the role of the MPS system is growing more and more, therefore the necessary changes were made to the legislation.
Step 5
The presence of adolescents from the age of fourteen is mandatory, since at this age it is necessary to have a passport. When issuing SNILS for a teenager over fourteen years old, the main document for this is a passport. At the same time, the teenager himself is an applicant and must be present at the PF at the time of receiving the application.
Step 6
In some regions of the Russian Federation, plastic insurance certificates can be issued to children at the place of study - at a technical school, college, school, even in a kindergarten. In these cases, neither the parents nor the child will need to apply to the PF.
