Instructions

Step 1

The most traditional way is to freeze the gum. Small items can be put in the freezer. But what about, for example, a blanket? Everything is simple here. Take a few pieces of ice and place it over the gum attachment. If it does not penetrate deeply into the fibers of the fabric, then when it freezes, you can easily tear it off.

Step 2

The second method is also the most common - with an iron. Place the garment on the ironing board with the elastic band facing up and iron it through a cloth with a hot iron. However, this method may not work for delicate fabrics that cannot be ironed with a hot iron.

Step 3

The next way is with nail polish remover. It is better if you take it without acetone. Especially when it comes to dyed fabric. The method is simple: dampen a cotton swab or soft cloth with liquid and scrub off the gum. In theory, there should be no traces left, and the color of the product should not be damaged.

Step 4

Another way is hot water and a toothbrush. Heat water in a kettle. Have your helper pour boiling water over the gum while you gently scrub with a toothbrush.

Step 5

Chewing gum can be defeated with chewing gum. Chew on a new piece of gum and apply it to the sticky piece. The gum will pull the adhering gum along with it. Do this until all the gum comes off.
