During pregnancy, the female body undergoes many changes - the hormonal background changes, the usual center of gravity shifts, the belly grows and the chest grows.
Instructions
Step 1
Changes in the mammary glands become noticeable around the second or third month of pregnancy. The chest becomes very sensitive, begins to increase in size. In some cases, pain and itching may appear. In general, the breast grows actively in the first ten weeks after conception and, in some cases, just before childbirth. The reason for these changes is an increase in the production of the hormones estrogen and progesterone. The first stimulates the enlargement of the milk ducts, and the second promotes the development of glandular tissue.
Step 2
Usually by the third month, noticeable bluish veins appear on the chest, and the skin around the nipples becomes slightly darker. By the fifth month, the nipples themselves may increase significantly, thus the body prepares for breastfeeding. In a fairly large number of women, colostrum (a yellowish liquid) is released at this time when pressing on the chest.
Step 3
The breasts may additionally enlarge before childbirth in the eighth or ninth month. At this time, painful sensations may reappear and sensitivity increase. It is very important to choose the right underwear for pregnant women in order to compensate for such changes, to properly distribute the increased load on the back, to keep the chest in good shape, minimizing the risk of stretch marks. Expectant mothers should choose bras made from natural fabric with wide straps that evenly distribute the weight on the shoulders, thus avoiding back pain. A maternity bra should not tighten too tightly on your breasts. It is best to choose models that are fastened in front.
Step 4
Every day, several times you need to wash your breasts with soap and water, you can use a soft washcloth. These procedures help prepare the breasts for breastfeeding. After washing, it is advisable to use a greasy nipple cream so that their surface is not covered with cracks.
Step 5
A contrast shower will help maintain the elasticity and shape of your breasts, but the temperature drop should not be too large. If suddenly the skin of the breast becomes very dry and sensitive, the hot shower should be abandoned, and after washing, apply suitable moisturizers to the skin surface.
Step 6
During pregnancy, it is advisable to use special firming creams with silicones and vitamin E. Unfortunately, such creams do not get rid of existing stretch marks, but prevent the appearance of new ones. It is advisable to start using such funds as early as the second month of pregnancy, when breast enlargement becomes noticeable. Some cosmetologists recommend using such creams in advance to prevent stretch marks, if, of course, pregnancy is planned.
