Step 1
Develop your baby's eyesight. A newborn child sees very poorly, he is not able to distinguish colors and follow moving objects. These abilities appear gradually as they grow older. Hang red, yellow and green toys at a height of about 20-25 cm from his eyes; it is these colors that the baby begins to distinguish earlier than others. And best of all, install a bright, spinning carousel above the bed. Your child will learn to follow toys with their eyes, thereby developing their eyesight.
Step 2
Read books to your child from an early age. By doing this, you will replenish his vocabulary, no matter that the baby does not yet know how to speak. Sing him nursery rhymes, tell him stories. When the baby is awake, try to always talk to him. Give him tours around the house, explain what the item is for. Believe me, this is not a waste of time, the child is able to "absorb" all the information from the very birth. Conversation with different intonation and volume is an exercise for developing hearing.
Step 3
Train your baby's fine motor skills. Massaging your fingertips has been shown to promote brain development. With a child who is already sitting well, try finger painting. It is better to start painting using only one color, gradually adding more of them. The development of fine motor skills is also facilitated by playing with croup and small objects, for example, buttons. Of course, this process must be constantly and carefully monitored so that the baby does not swallow anything. For an older child, suggest separating the beans from the buttons or putting them in a box.
Step 4
Play foreign music for your child. Experts say that for better development, a person should hear several foreign languages from childhood.
