A delay in menstruation diversifies a woman's emotional life so much that it is time for her to take a sedative. Step 1
Test strips are the cheapest pregnancy tests. Their reliability is 90% plus / minus 5% on the first day of missed periods. After 7 days of delay, the accuracy rises to 94-100%.

The test strip is a cloth or paper strip soaked in a special reagent, which contains antibodies to chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). There are two zones on the test - control and diagnostic.

To use the test strip, collect your morning urine in a clean glass or plastic container and dip the strip into it until you reach the test level for a few seconds. Then put the test aside, and after the number of minutes indicated in the instructions, evaluate the result. If one strip appears in the control zone - you are not pregnant, and if two - pregnancy has come.

Tablet tests are second generation tests. They are more sensitive than test strips, and, therefore, signal pregnancy earlier and with greater accuracy. The test is a small plate with two windows - diagnostic and control, and a disposable pipette. Inside the plate is an area soaked in a reagent sensitive to hCG.
Step 5
To use the tablet test, collect the urine in a clean container in the morning, and then draw it into a pipette. Place a few drops of urine in the test window provided for it. After a while, evaluate the result that appears in the second window.
Step 6
The most modern type of test is jet tests. In addition to their high reliability, they are distinguished by ease of use. At any time of the day, simply substitute the receiving part of the test under the stream of urine, and in a minute you will evaluate the result that appears in the window. This test gives almost 100% result from the very first day of your missed period.
