Divorce is always painful, difficult and unpleasant. It doesn't matter how many years you have lived together and on whose initiative this event took place. Parting is equally difficult for both women and men.
In the early days, it seems that time has stopped and there is no point in living anymore. It is possible and necessary to get rid of negative thoughts and try to start a new happy life.
First of all, it is necessary to remove from the visibility zone everything that reminds of the departed person: disks, albums, gifts, etc. Do not rush to tear, burn or throw away photos. It is enough just to put them in a box and put them away, because time will pass and an unpleasant episode will be forgotten, and a photo is a memory.
The deed is done, but there are still furniture, appliances, household items. If finances do not allow you to update everything at once, then it is best to make cosmetic repairs and rearrange the furniture. The hassle of buying paints, wallpapers, tiles, and more will displace negative thoughts for a long time.
In addition to the house, there are places that the couple visited together: a cafe, a bar, a cinema, a shop nearby, etc. It is better to forget about these establishments for a while and find a cozy cafe where it will be comfortable and which will only be yours.
If work and household chores do not help to cope with the depressed state, then an excellent solution would be to meet with old friends, go on a visit, party, picnic, etc.
If children have appeared in a marriage, then the situation is greatly complicated, because divorce is a severe stress for the child's psyche. If the child is old enough, you need to try to explain to him why the parents will no longer live together, and that no one will love him less. By an unspoken default, children most often stay with their mother. In this case, you should not tell the child nasty things about his father, refuse to meet with the parent, unless, of course, he is an antisocial person, meeting with whom will only harm the baby.
And most importantly, do not give up on yourself, because everyone has the right to happiness: young and not very young, beauties and ugly women, divorced women with children and a businesswoman.
