It is important for a nursing mother how much fluid she drinks. You should drink about two liters a day. There are drinks that are known to help milk production. In the diet of a nursing mother, you can add special vitamin complexes, as well as teas that promote lactation.
What promotes lactation?
- Fresh carrot juice. You need to drink juice three times a day, at least half a glass. Add cream, milk or honey if desired.
- Pour the finely grated carrots with warm milk. For three to four tablespoons of carrots, one glass of milk. We drink such a drink in a glass two or three times a day. It is also good to add one or two teaspoons of honey.
- Take two teaspoons of anise seeds and pour boiling water over them in the amount of one glass. We let the drink brew for an hour, drink it thirty minutes before meals, three times a day, two tablespoons each.
- We take a teaspoon of caraway seeds and fill it with a glass of hot milk. The drink needs to stand for a couple of hours. You need to take half a glass twenty to thirty minutes before feeding.
- Pour one tablespoon of dill seeds with a glass of boiling water. We insist for an hour and a half. You need to take one tablespoon four times a day.
- Infusion of fennel, oregano and anise well promotes lactation. We take ten grams of each ingredient. Mix together the herb oregano, fennel fruits and crushed anise fruits. Pour one teaspoon of this mixture with a glass of boiling water, leave it for guidance for a couple of hours. It should be taken twice a day, half a glass.
- Take twelve walnut kernels and crush them. We fall asleep in a thermos, fill in the nuts with two glasses of hot milk. After two hours, the mixture is ready for use. Such a drink should be taken in a third of a glass twenty minutes before feeding.
