Step 1
It has long been noticed that a person can do an interesting job for a very long time. Sometimes it is impossible to tear it off. In order for the child to focus on learning activities, they must be interesting to him, he must learn to enjoy the lesson and its results. Cognitive programs, popular science films, fascinating books on various branches of knowledge can help. Explain to your child that he, too, can make scientific discoveries if he can learn to acquire the knowledge necessary for this.
Step 2
In primary school, some children suffer from inability to concentrate, and this is not always the case due to the fact that the subject is not interesting. Consult a school psychologist. He will offer you didactic games for attention. You can find them yourself. These are games such as "find the difference", "what's superfluous", "edible - inedible", mosaics with samples, etc.
Step 3
Teach your child to navigate in space. Already a baby of an early age has access to such concepts as "top", "bottom", "right", "left". A school-age child should not even think about when he is asked to take a pen in his right hand and start writing from the top line.

By the first grade, the child should already be able to compare objects in size and shape, know the composition of the number, determine which group has more objects, and which group has fewer. You can teach this while walking, cooking dinner, playing with different objects. For example, offer to count the required number of carrots or potatoes for the soup, compare their number.

Teach your child to organize their time by alternating activities. For example, he should spend 35 minutes on a lesson, and then he can rest for 10 minutes. The hourglass will help you a lot. A timer can also be used. Explain that he should be on time in 35 minutes.

Always be aware of what's going on at school, but don't do homework for your child. Your task is to control the process, and he must learn himself. Teach your student to first look for a solution on their own, and only then contact you. Explain to him how you can find the right solution - look at similar problems, rummage in reference books, search the Internet.
