At this age, the child can begin to show the first rudiments of independence. If you are stubborn, try to distract the child or, if it does not harm him, even allow him to do what he wants. For example, if he is trying to take something on his own or to walk on his own, it is best to secure him, but give him some freedom of action.

Talk to your child more. In the period from one year to one and a half years, a particularly active development of speech occurs. By the first birthday, the child usually pronounces 10-15 words, but is able to understand much more. When teaching new words, try to speak correctly, but simply. If the child is interested in, for example, a toy, name it, describe it. So he will be able to remember not only the noun, but also some characteristics of the object. If the child asks to give him something, but does not know the name of the object or cannot pronounce it, say the right word for him. This will gradually expand his vocabulary.
Step 3
Make your leisure time more varied. From the age of one, the child can already begin to adequately perceive books for his age. Audio recordings for children will also be a good solution.
Step 4
Take care of your child's safety. At this age, he can already walk on his own, and therefore, runs the risk of facing dangers at home. Remove all piercing and cutting objects in inaccessible places, close the sockets with special protective covers. Also remove particularly fragile and valuable items. If the house is large, you can collect such things in the room, where the child will only gain access when accompanied by an adult.
Step 5
If there are pets in the house, teach your child how to handle them. Strictly forbid him to approach the bowls of animals - even a well-bred dog can bite a person who will try to take food away from her during feeding. It is better not to give cats and other small animals to the child's hands. They may be allowed to be ironed in the presence of an adult.
