Even in families where the daily routine is strictly observed by everyone, deviations occur. Moreover, such deviations are necessary for both adults and children. Sometimes you need to take a break from the established order once and for all. Most often, the daily routine is forgotten on long holidays or in the summer, when you don't want to think about what time to have lunch or go to bed, because there are too many interesting things around. But the holidays or vacation are over, and you need to return to the usual measured way of life. And above all, it is necessary to teach the child again to the regime.
Instructions
Step 1
If the rhythm of life got lost during the holidays, nothing terrible happened. The child himself will gladly return to his usual activities. You can restore the regime after the vacation in the same ways that you once taught your little fidget to a certain order. A positive attitude is necessary both from his side and from yours. Tell him that you are returning to kindergarten or school, where old friends and new toys and activities are waiting for him. Friends missed him, they have visited many places and will definitely tell about their summer adventures. Discuss with your child what he or she can tell the caregiver and other children.
Step 2
Restore sleep and wakefulness. In the summer you could sleep longer in the morning, but now you have to get up early again. But at the same time, you need to get enough sleep, so you will also have to go to bed early. Start by lifting. The day before, outline a plan for the next day and explain why you need to get up early. Plans may include a visit to the doctor in front of school and kindergarten, an interesting walk in familiar places, or a trip to where the child has long wanted. The planned must be done without fail.
Step 3
Try to keep your day interesting and fulfilling. If there are a lot of impressions, in the evening you do not even have to try very hard to get the child to sleep. Do not be discouraged if on the very first evening you do not manage to restore the usual way of going to bed. You will do it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. But explaining to the child why tomorrow you need to get up early is still necessary.
Step 4
The next day or every other day, remind your child what to do before going to bed. At the dacha or at the grandmother's, it was not always possible to follow a certain order (although hygiene procedures must, of course, be performed in the summer as well). Choose the most interesting book you read before bed. Usually children are happy to return to their usual rhythm of life, and they need very little help.
Step 5
If you still have a few days before returning to kindergarten or before school starts, give your child the opportunity to remember for himself what time to go for a walk, and what time to devote to quiet games, drawing or reading. If he himself is not very good at it, offer at a certain time an activity of his choice. In this case, you do not need to duplicate school lessons, just give your child the opportunity to alternate quiet activities with outdoor games. With a timely change in activity, he will be less tired.
