Skype is a popular program for making video calls and sending instant messages. Increasingly, it is also used to meet people around the world, find friends and a soul mate.
Instructions
Step 1
Install the Skype application on a computer or other device with Internet access, register in it and launch it by logging in with your personal username and password. Select the "Contacts" menu item and click "Add contact". In the search box, enter any information that will help you find the interlocutor, for example, the name of the country, city where you want to meet. You will see a list of contacts that you can add to yourself by sending a request. Skype usernames can also be found on social networks, forums and other Internet resources.
Step 2
Wait until the user approves your contact request. As soon as this happens, you will be able to see his personal data, and your information, in turn, will become available to him. Say hello to your interlocutor and invite him to meet you. If he is not against it, start a correspondence. Please note that you should not immediately call him or persistently persuade him to communicate via video communication. It is unlikely that your new acquaintance will want to move so quickly to such an intimate conversation, literally face to face. It takes a while for you to get used to each other.
Step 3
During the correspondence, ask the interlocutor as interesting questions as possible. You can choose topics for them based on the data that you know or don't know about the person. For example, specify his place of study or work, current interests and hobbies, ask what he is doing at the moment.
Step 4
Tell your interlocutor your purpose of dating. If you are looking for friends, please tell us about it. This will help your interlocutor better tune in to a simple and casual conversation. If you want to find a soul mate, you can say so if the conversation is going well. Perhaps the interlocutor or interlocutor wants the same and will wait with interest for further actions from you.
Step 5
At the right time, politely ask if your new acquaintance would like to communicate via video communication. If he agrees, give him a call, making sure your webcam and microphone are properly configured. During a conversation, behave neutral, try to please him, be polite and be sure to make some kind of compliment. At the end of the conversation, ask what time your new friend is online in order to be able to communicate with him in the future.
