Good parents always support and develop creativity in their child in every possible way. But sometimes small painters and sculptors show their talents not only at the table. They like to smear plasticine on walls, furniture, sometimes all their clothes and even their hair, they manage to cover up with a pliable plasticine mass. And then the parents grab the hair - how to remove all this without consequences? This can be difficult, but possible. There are various ways to remove plasticine from different surfaces.
Instructions
Step 1
From carpet and soft toys. The plasticine should be warmed up (you can do this with a home hair dryer) and patiently, very carefully remove the softened plasticine with your hands or a napkin. Continue the procedure using a comb or fine comb (depending on the bristle), and finish by applying detergent to the stain and washing it off with a washcloth or sponge. If your carpet is natural with artificial dye, then you can remove the plasticine with lighter gasoline. As for soft toys, if they are small, you can put them in the freezer of the refrigerator for half an hour, after which the plasticine should just pop out or crumble when pressed, and then rinse the toy in soapy water.
Step 2
From cabinet furniture. Gently scrape off the clay from the surface with a plastic knife. Then soak a cotton swab in alcohol and treat all the places where the plasticine was stuck. Wipe dry with a special furniture care cloth. Housewives say that hairspray also helps, you just need to splash on the clay and remove it with a soft cloth.
Step 3
From the walls covered with wallpaper. First, try to take the plasticine out of the box, roll a flagellum out of it and, rolling it on the plasticine on the walls, try to "pull" the plasticine mass out of the wallpaper. Sometimes it works. If the number does not work, warm up the spots with a hairdryer, periodically blotting the softened plasticine with a napkin. If the texture of the wallpaper allows, gently rinse the remaining greasy stains with a sponge dipped in dishwashing liquid.
Step 4
With hands. Lubricate your hands with vegetable oil, hold for 3-5 minutes. Then wash with hot soapy water (you can use dishwashing detergent).
Step 5
From clothes. Remove plasticine by hand or with a stiff brush, moisten the stains with liquid detergent and leave for 15-20 minutes. Wash these places with your hands, then wash at a temperature of 60 ° C (if colored spots remain, turn on the boiling mode). Of course, boiling is not good for colored, fading fabrics.
You can also iron the stains with a slightly hot iron through a paper napkin (place the second napkin on the wrong side of the garment). It is necessary to change the napkins several times. The fat will be absorbed into the paper. Then a regular wash.
Step 6
From the hair. This is the most difficult case. Of course, young children can cut strands covered with plasticine, or even shave them altogether, but if trouble befell an adult, these methods will not work. There is only one thing left - to comb out. It is difficult, but there is no other way out. You can try dampening your hair with gasoline or thinner, but success is not guaranteed, because different plasticine masses have different compositions. If it is a traditional clay with the addition of wax and animal lard (which just do not allow the plasticine mass to dry), then these additives will be removed from gasoline or solvent, and the remaining clay will dry out, and then you can easily pick it out with your hands or rinse it out. Sometimes plasticine successfully dissolves vegetable oil. Apply the oil to hair and comb through with a fine-toothed comb. Be patient and you will succeed.
