Many moms still use the classic gauze diapers. And this makes sense, because they are natural and do not lead to allergic reactions. In addition, they allow air to pass through well, and the baby's skin is not steamed. But it is important to know how to properly fold such a gauze diaper.
It is necessary
- - any flat surface on which the diaper can be folded (table or bed);
- - gauze cloth;
- - scissors.
Instructions
Step 1
Cut a square out of the gauze cloth with scissors. For reusable diapers, you can also use a bike or flannel, as they absorb more moisture than gauze, since in addition to being very breathable, gauze diapers are also very moisture-permeable. And when the baby pees, the sliders and the place where the baby is lying get wet pretty quickly.
Step 2
After the square has been cut, lay the prepared fabric on a flat surface. Now fold it in half: from top to bottom. You will get a rectangle.
Step 3
And fold the fabric again, but now from right to left, then grab the top edge of the fabric at the bottom left of the corner of the square and pull it to the right to form a triangle.
Step 4
Flip the diaper over. Fold the fabric in a small roll, from right to left (you need to fold the rectangular side) 3-4 times. Once you're done, the diaper is ready to use.
Step 5
After swaddling your baby, place him on a waterproof diaper, so that later you do not have to change the blanket or sheet on which he lies.
Step 6
The diapers must be changed every time the baby gets wet. So make some diapers ahead of time (you may need 20 or more), and place the stack next to your baby's bed. Also, fold extra clothing and a blanket nearby. Now, if necessary, you can quickly change your baby's clothes and change the diaper.
