Childhood is a special time in life when the views and principles of everyone begin to form. The task of adults is to instruct children on the right path, suggest how best to act in an unfamiliar situation.

Instructions

Step 1

Don't abuse your authority. Of course, the last word in family disputes rests with adults, but at the same time it is important to show the child that his opinion also matters. Ask him what he thinks and try to take this into account when making decisions that are important for the child.

Step 2

Do not be afraid to compliment him again for completing your assignment or school task. If there is a reason to reprimand the kid for a fault, explain why you are forced to be strict and consider it necessary to punish him. The child must understand what he did wrong in order to be able to correct the situation and draw conclusions.

Step 3

Don't compare your child to other children. It hurts self-esteem, lowers self-esteem and, often, causes moral trauma that is difficult to correct. If a child is not given something, this is not a reason to make him think that he is bad or is doing something wrong.

Step 4

Show attention to your child, make it a rule to give him time every day, no matter how busy you are. Ask him about your day and take questions and concerns seriously, even if they don't seem important to you.
