By about 3 years of age, children's play becomes more difficult. A certain plot and rules appear in them. Playing with daughters and mothers, school, shop, hospital, the child reflects his vision of the world around him, fantasizes and learns. The task of adults is to help enrich the game, expand the number of plots, acquaint the child with the responsibilities of the participants in the game.

Necessary

items for games (children's dishes, dolls, etc.)

Instructions

Step 1

Gradually introduce elements of role-playing games into the child's play activity. Offer him to treat or feed the doll, walk the dog, cook food for the bear, put cars in the garage. Purchase the necessary items for the games: dishes for the cook, medical instruments for the doctor, a house for dolls, figurines of animals for playing the zoo.

Step 2

Distribute roles. It is good if the child is not playing alone, but with a group of children. Then the game will be more interesting, although collisions of interests and conflicts are possible in such a game. Define the responsibilities of each member of the game. Outline a rough plot. There can be many options for each game, so it's better to agree on the plot right away. Teach your child the interchangeability of play items. A ruler may well mean a thermometer, a piece of paper - a doctor's prescription, and from a table you can arrange a dollhouse or a garage for cars.

Step 3

Take on a role. For example, play the part of the sick person. In order for the child to be able to quickly join the game, ask him leading questions: “Is this a hospital? You are a doctor? I have a headache, do you have any medicine? etc. Help your child come up with new stories: for example, a naughty child at a doctor's appointment, ordering the right product in a store, an operation in a veterinary clinic.

Step 4

Correct the child's attitude towards negative characters in the game. Children often enjoy playing drunken dad, scandalous mom, space villain destroying everything in its path. Explain (you can do this during the game) that this behavior is judgmental.

Step 5

Include in the child's play the dramatization of famous fairy tales - "Kolobok", "The Fox and the Hare", "Little Red Riding Hood". The child is well acquainted with the plots of these fairy tales, which means that it will be easy for him to play the role. Encourage the child's imagination, add different elements to the game, play out familiar stories from fairy tales in a new way.
