How to put a diaper on a baby
On average, a baby's diaper needs to be changed once every 3 hours and every time after the baby has pooped. Cover the changing table (bed, chest of drawers) with oilcloth. Place the baby on its back. If necessary, lubricate the baby's butt and legs with baby protective diaper cream.
Open the diaper and place it on the table next to the baby. With one hand, grasp the baby's shins tightly and lift the legs with the butt, placing the unfolded diaper under his back with your free hand. Next, pull the top edge of the diaper under the buttocks to the waist. After that, slip the middle part of the diaper between the baby's legs, and put the lower part on the stomach. Pull the side elastic panels to the side. Smooth the upper part of the diaper over the baby's body under the side wings. Fasten the diaper with the Velcro.
According to the rules, the bottom edge should be at the level of the crumb's knees. If the diaper is located higher than this place, you should choose a larger diaper size. Be sure to check how it is tightened on the baby's belly. Ideally, you can easily insert your index finger between the diaper and the baby's belly. If this fails, loosen the diaper. If the product is too loose on the child, tighten it slightly with the Velcro.
How to remove a diaper correctly
Place the baby on your back. Gently unfasten the Velcro fasteners and lift the baby's legs by pulling the used diaper out from underneath. If the child pooped, be sure to wash it with baby liquid soap or special gel. After water procedures, gently blot the baby with a towel and let it be naked for 20 minutes. It is good for baby's skin and immunity. Gently fold the dirty diaper at the seams and secure it crosswise with Velcro.
How to put on panty diapers
Most modern diaper designs are equally suitable for boys and girls. However, there are diapers designed taking into account the physiological characteristics of the body of children over 9 months of age. So models for girls are equipped with additional protection in the middle and back of the diaper, and panties for boys have a more protected front part. Put on such panty diapers on a standing child, because the fasteners in such products do not open, but stretch. To remove the used diaper, gently tear off the side fasteners and simply pull it off the baby.
